Nothing in this world will make your skin tone completly lighter, but you can do things to brighten yourself up, like for me (and most African American's) when the seasons change, in the summer I tend to be a bit darker and in the winter I lighten up just a little. If you want to clear up your skin tone I suggest using Ambi face cream. It's a fade cream and will definetly give you an even clearer skin tone, it might lighten you up just a little bit which I did experience, and it provides SPF so it protects your face from UV rays when you're out and about. My mom even noticed it, she was like man your face has lightened up! I was like really? lol I've been using it for years. I am going to wear this dress for valentines day and I was wondering if there are any special kind of creams that women can use to apply to their legs to hide imperfections and make the skin look clearer and smoother? Something like foundation but not that.

I believe that doctors can inject animal fat under your skin. This may help. Also, try eating lots of chocolate and don't bathe.

Don't practice any sort of hygiene.
Eat lots of chocolate. (it is true it dose give zits)

Spread chocolate on your face and leave it on overnight.

I've tried a lot of different things to help my skin, and I must admit it is a lot better than it was when I was 14-16 when my skin had moderate acne. But I'm about to be 19 in a couple months, and am sick and tired of having stubborn zits all around my face. I've been drinking a lot of water, and trying to eat fruits and veggies, I wash my face 2x a day with Origins cleanser, followed with toner, perscription Benzeclin (night) or Tazorac (day). I also have recently been trying putting lemon juice on my skin. I take 2 Garden of Life Perfect Food vitamins and one of vitamin A at night.
But...everyday I still have zits, whether its the same ones, new ones, or ones that haven't surfaced yet but hurt. What can I do? Oh and I've tried Proactive and been to the dermatologist, and she's done everything she can (but I'm not going on Accutane!) Is there some sort of detox cleanse I can do, or a specific vitamine that will help me, or a magical cream?(I'm kidding about the cream lol)Thanks!Best vitamin or creams or diet for clear skin. and i plan to start this tomorow. The book is called The Master Cleanser by Stanley Burroughs. You can buy it a Whole Foods store or maybe any other health store! And although some websites about it says that its wieght lose it will only make you lose as much as your body needs to and if you are underweight than it will actually make you gain to the actual size you need to be. But it really helps clear your pimples, acne, zits, etc. because to cure your skin from these things you need to take out all the toxins in you blood and so forth!Best vitamin or creams or diet for clear skin. (to get RID of stubborn mild acne)?
just make sure you buy the book dont just find the reciepe offline becuz they dont tell you all the details(i checked and tried myself) and its super important to go exactly be the directions(dangerous not to) and you need to know how to get off of this cleansing Report Abuse
You may want to try the drying lotion by mario badescu. It works very well on zits %26amp; those that are yet to surface. Using a cotton swab, dab one drop of the solution over the affected area overnight. Another solution which can help clear %26amp; prevent acne is to go on contraceptive pills. Besides its main purpose, it also helps to clear acne too. Ask your doctor about it. Good luck.
Well do an experiment maybe your using to many things on your face and all it needs to do is heal. your constantly dring out your face and causing the skin to create more zits any way try an experiment: for about a month try washing your face at night b-4 u go to bed and then again when you wake up. After that use a non greasy lotion ( look for it by acne face wash) o yeah try proactive's refining mask ( this worked wonders 4 me) at night. And then put on some kind of night lotion for dried skin kind of like a repairing lotion. Oh and wash your pillow cases every week and your sheets because oils and other stuff stay on there and then create bacteria that makes pimples on your face or wash them every day and make sure you dont touch your face during the day or don't let any thing touch your face.

Can i stop using acne creams once my skin is cleared?

So it goes away for a couple of days and then it comes right back when I stop using the cream. I have asked two different doctors how long am I supposed to keep applying it and they always say until it goes away.....well I do that, but!!! I have even kept using the cream for a week after it's gone hoping that would make it stay gone. Here is a herb remedy that will work. For long term health learn about colon and liver cleansing to clear out the toxins in the blood.
1. Take 1-3 droppersful of Echinacea Plus Tincture (at herbdoc.com or another qualified site) to strengthen the immune system.
2. Rub Garlic oil ALL over the affected area (Garlic will kill anything if you use enough of it)
3. Give 1-3 glasses of Activated Charcoal Slurry per day (to absorb the toxins out of the blood)
4. Mix equal parts of Aloe Vera Gel, Slippery Elm Powder and Activated Charcoal Powder together (absorbs the toxins externally)
5. Apply a thin layer of this mixture over the AFFECTED area(s).
6. Continue this treatment, until the desired Results are achieved.

If he's feeling itchy and he can't get it under control, the doctor will give him a round of antibiotics. You might want to get allergy tested to see if something in your environment or something that you are consuming is causing your eczema. It will be a lifelong battle though. I don't think eczema will go away. You just get the frequency and severity of the breakouts under control.

Every 3 days ( or less depending on the weather, if its colder or dry) I use a light no fragrance moisturizer (Oil of Olay and store brands) and my face is smooth, clear, and soft, I am 42 with a face that people say I look 20 years younger. I bet if everyone stopped washing their face with soaps (unless you are extremely dirty!!!) and used a no fragrance moisturizer, their skin would look and feel younger. I don't even have to use makeup. I don't need to cover up my face in all that goo. Makeup doesn't make you prettier!

Then put nappy rash cream (or, if you can get it, 'Heel To Hoof') all over the mud rash, wrap with cling film and apply stable bandages (with padding to prevent pressure sores). Leave the bandages on over night and repeat the procedure the following day. In 24 hours, the scabs will be gone and the area will be able to begin to heal. For the next 24 hours, keep your horse out of the mud, so the air can get to the area. The bacteria which causes mud rash is anaerobic, so it thrives without oxygen. Allowing the area to breathe without the scabs on is the best way to effect a cure.
Once you expose the area to mud again, ensure that you wash it with hibi scrub again, and dry the legs correctly.

air dry the area. Try to let them go without a diaper for 10 min. or so. Lay the baby on towel. You may need to stop using baby wipes if you are, as that will irriate the rash further. Just use wet paper towels or warm wash cloth to clean the area, then let air dry. Your baby may also have a yeast infection, which wont clear up by itself usually, you will see little red dots in areas, this is yeast and you need to use nystatin from your baby's dr. I had 2 babies with very sensitive butts. The only way to cure the rash, is to go buy very soft wash cloths, and dial anti-bacterial soap. Use warm water and soap EVERY time you change a diaper. As the baby gets older, their skin will get stronger, and you will be able to switch back to wipes. I bought 20 packs of wash cloths, and a huge container of soap. Also, make sure you rinse the cloth immeadiatly after use, and put in the washer with a hot setting for the wash. Best part is....you dont have to buy wipes every week, and your baby will enjoy the warm water, its very soothing on a sore butt.

Ok here's the recipie, but you need a doctor prescription for Nyastatin.
30 ml of nyastatin (one tube)
30 ml of mylanta mint (yes antacid)
30 ml of desitin or zinc oxide (this adds thickness to the mixture)
Put all ingredients into a small rubbermaid container close tight and shake until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Use on soap and water cleaned baby bum that has been air dried.
This is my doctor's 'magic butt creme' for diaper rash. The nyastatin (I still don't know if I am spelling that right) is a perscribed antibiotic and it is very acidic, the mylanta will cool that hot rash and lower the ph level of the acid in the medicine and will not hurt the properties used to heal the rash. The rash will be gone in under 2 days....promise....test and then choose best answer cause this works!
We mixed the creams with medicated powder according to the instructions our pediatrician gave. (It's not easy to mix and once it's in the container, it never leaves, so use something you don't care about.) Apply it liberally several times a day. Baths help because they soak in the water. It usually cleared up in less than a week's time.
Get a presctiption for Dr. Smiths Diaper rash ointment it is the best stuff out there. I used it on my son when he was a baby.
The only thing that worked for my son (when he was a baby) was something different that his pediatrician recommended:
Get two wide dishes of some sort and in one put vinegar (maybe like 1/2 cup) and in the other put some baking soda (about 1/4 cup). Then add warm water to both. Dip your baby's bottom into the vinegar one and then into the baking soda one (just about 10 seconds in each one), then dry it off completely. This neutralizes the acid somehow, because if you're just putting ointment on there before getting rid of the acid and bacteria from the poop, then it's just sealing all of that in. After your baby's bottom is dry (I tried to leave my son's diaper off as long as possible, because air also helps diaper rash a great deal), coat it really well with Vaseline before putting a diaper back on. This works better than anything, because it has no fragrance and it creates a good seal so that it won't get irritated by the next bowel movement or urine. Good luck!
Oh, and by the way, when you go to wipe your baby, just use paper towels soaked with water...no diaper wipes! And after the diaper rash is gone, always use unscented wipes.

Any moisture barrier ointment should work. Try Desitin ointment or a light coat of vasaline or zinc oxide. All of these are over-the-counter.

Have you ever tried using corn starch? Try using corn starch like you would use a powder in your little ones diaper. My son is 5yrs.old and sometimes has problems with wiping...when his bum is sore I just put some cornstarch on there and he says it feels better right away. Also...this is a no brainer...make sure that you are changing the diaper VERY regularly. I'm sure that you do that anyway. It may cost more money for diapers but it is worth it for a happy baby!

My son's eczema isn't clearing up with Desonide cream?
My son is 4 years old. He gets scab looking rashes all over his leg or legs only in the summer time. Right now it's all over his right leg and now spreading to one of his arms and his stomach. The Desonide cream that the doctor gave me isn't working. What else can help with a child's Eczema? What should I do? But you can go to the doctor still. They will give you something stronger if the rash is severe, usually they'll prescribe an ointment (which is ANNOYING when you've got the itches but it's better). Sometimes, you might even score some free samples to try out!
Something that helps during these hot summer months, make sure his bath water isn't too hot (cool is best) and try using a soap-free cleanser like Cetaphil since soap can irritate the rashes. I don't know if this is the case with your child, but my eczema is sometimes aggravated by my diet. Tomatoes, wheat, and chocolate are my triggers (spaghetti irritates me big time but it's just so filling and delicious lol). Try to see if you notice any flare ups after he eats certain things.
My first daughter had it when she was younger, but it went away by the time she was four. My third child has it so bad that she had to go on prescription strength cream to tame it. Try asking your doctor if he would consider letting you try a cream called ';Triamcinolone';. It's possible that if you use it too long it could possibly lightly bleach his skin, but it was my last choice for my daughter and she immediately feels relief when I put it on her. I know it's miserable for him. Maybe you could try hydrocortisone until you can get him to the doctor. =)
Eucerin. It's expensive but just lather it on real well after baths and if the eczema is real bad lather it on more than a few times a day and it will help. Another thing that works is hydrocortisone cream but you need to be careful with putting it on too much because it can thin the skin. I would say to try a combination of the above.

You can sometimes get free alkaline and acidic water by placing a wanted add on www.craigslist.com Ask for 8.5 PH drinking water, and usually the same machine will also make the acidic water needed to treat the eczema.

This may sound crazy, but go here http://www.deadseawarehouse.com I got a bar of soap from my local healthfood store for about $5-6. The kind online is larger bars is why it's more expensive. It's awesome. We aren't even using any lotion anymore. You can also get salt to put in the water. I know the website is cheesy and our healthfood store didn't even want to stock the product because of the cheap looking packaging, but that just makes the product cheaper for us.
I would probably make an appointment. However, I found with my eczema that Gold Bond ultimate healing lotion worked the best for me. I hope that helps!

It's awesome. We aren't even using any lotion anymore. You can also get salt to put in the water. I know the website is cheesy and our healthfood store didn't even want to stock the product because of the cheap looking packaging, but that just makes the product cheaper for us.
I would probably make an appointment. However, I found with my eczema that Gold Bond ultimate healing lotion worked the best for me. I hope that helps!

because acne creams and facial washes will only make ur skin more sensitive and break out more, it actually strips your skin layers over time %26amp; can dry it out and cause irritation and damage.

air dry the area. Try to let them go without a diaper for 10 min. or so. Lay the baby on towel. You may need to stop using baby wipes if you are, as that will irriate the rash further. Just use wet paper towels or warm wash cloth to clean the area, then let air dry. Your baby may also have a yeast infection, which wont clear up by itself usually, you will see little red dots in areas, this is yeast and you need to use nystatin from your baby's dr. I had 2 babies with very sensitive butts. The only way to cure the rash, is to go buy very soft wash cloths, and dial anti-bacterial soap. Use warm water and soap EVERY time you change a diaper. As the baby gets older, their skin will get stronger, and you will be able to switch back to wipes. I bought 20 packs of wash cloths, and a huge container of soap. Also, make sure you rinse the cloth immeadiatly after use, and put in the washer with a hot setting for the wash. Best part is....you dont have to buy wipes every week, and your baby will enjoy the warm water, its very soothing on a sore butt.

Ok here's the recipie, but you need a doctor prescription for Nyastatin.
30 ml of nyastatin (one tube)
30 ml of mylanta mint (yes antacid)
30 ml of desitin or zinc oxide (this adds thickness to the mixture)
Put all ingredients into a small rubbermaid container close tight and shake until all ingredients are thoroughly mixed. Use on soap and water cleaned baby bum that has been air dried.
This is my doctor's 'magic butt creme' for diaper rash. The nyastatin (I still don't know if I am spelling that right) is a perscribed antibiotic and it is very acidic, the mylanta will cool that hot rash and lower the ph level of the acid in the medicine and will not hurt the properties used to heal the rash. The rash will be gone in under 2 days....promise....test and then choose best answer cause this works!
We mixed the creams with medicated powder according to the instructions our pediatrician gave. (It's not easy to mix and once it's in the container, it never leaves, so use something you don't care about.) Apply it liberally several times a day. Baths help because they soak in the water. It usually cleared up in less than a week's time.
Get a presctiption for Dr. Smiths Diaper rash ointment it is the best stuff out there. I used it on my son when he was a baby.
The only thing that worked for my son (when he was a baby) was something different that his pediatrician recommended:
Get two wide dishes of some sort and in one put vinegar (maybe like 1/2 cup) and in the other put some baking soda (about 1/4 cup). Then add warm water to both. Dip your baby's bottom into the vinegar one and then into the baking soda one (just about 10 seconds in each one), then dry it off completely. This neutralizes the acid somehow, because if you're just putting ointment on there before getting rid of the acid and bacteria from the poop, then it's just sealing all of that in. After your baby's bottom is dry (I tried to leave my son's diaper off as long as possible, because air also helps diaper rash a great deal), coat it really well with Vaseline before putting a diaper back on. This works better than anything, because it has no fragrance and it creates a good seal so that it won't get irritated by the next bowel movement or urine. Good luck!
Oh, and by the way, when you go to wipe your baby, just use paper towels soaked with water...no diaper wipes! And after the diaper rash is gone, always use unscented wipes.

Any moisture barrier ointment should work. Try Desitin ointment or a light coat of vasaline or zinc oxide. All of these are over-the-counter.
Oh, and change the diapers more frequently helps, too.

Have you ever tried using corn starch? Try using corn starch like you would use a powder in your little ones diaper. My son is 5yrs.old and sometimes has problems with wiping...when his bum is sore I just put some cornstarch on there and he says it feels better right away. Also...this is a no brainer...make sure that you are changing the diaper VERY regularly. I'm sure that you do that anyway. It may cost more money for diapers but it is worth it for a happy baby!

This is my doctor's 'magic butt creme' for diaper rash. The nyastatin (I still don't know if I am spelling that right) is a perscribed antibiotic and it is very acidic, the mylanta will cool that hot rash and lower the ph level of the acid in the medicine and will not hurt the properties used to heal the rash. The rash will be gone in under 2 days....promise....test and then choose best answer cause this works!
We mixed the creams with medicated powder according to the instructions our pediatrician gave. (It's not easy to mix and once it's in the container, it never leaves, so use something you don't care about.) Apply it liberally several times a day. Baths help because they soak in the water. It usually cleared up in less than a week's time.
Get a presctiption for Dr. Smiths Diaper rash ointment it is the best stuff out there. I used it on my son when he was a baby.
The only thing that worked for my son (when he was a baby) was something different that his pediatrician recommended:
Get two wide dishes of some sort and in one put vinegar (maybe like 1/2 cup) and in the other put some baking soda (about 1/4 cup). Then add warm water to both. Dip your baby's bottom into the vinegar one and then into the baking soda one (just about 10 seconds in each one), then dry it off completely. This neutralizes the acid somehow, because if you're just putting ointment on there before getting rid of the acid and bacteria from the poop, then it's just sealing all of that in. After your baby's bottom is dry (I tried to leave my son's diaper off as long as possible, because air also helps diaper rash a great deal), coat it really well with Vaseline before putting a diaper back on. This works better than anything, because it has no fragrance and it creates a good seal so that it won't get irritated by the next bowel movement or urine. Good luck!
Oh, and by the way, when you go to wipe your baby, just use paper towels soaked with water...no diaper wipes! And after the diaper rash is gone, always use unscented wipes.
if there has been no improvement...take the baby to his/her pediatrician..and like someone said before...let the baby go without a diaper whenever possible.
Take the baby to the pediatrician,it may be fungal or bacterial or an indication of something else.
Any moisture barrier ointment should work. Try Desitin ointment or a light coat of vasaline or zinc oxide. All of these are over-the-counter.
Oh, and change the diapers more frequently helps, too.

Have you ever tried using corn starch? Try using corn starch like you would use a powder in your little ones diaper. My son is 5yrs.old and sometimes has problems with wiping...when his bum is sore I just put some cornstarch on there and he says it feels better right away. Also...this is a no brainer...make sure that you are changing the diaper VERY regularly. I'm sure that you do that anyway. It may cost more money for diapers but it is worth it for a happy baby!

Is there any ways to clear away ECZEMA without using steroid cream?
The corner of my mouth and below is red, dry, flaky and painful. I had this problem for 5 years now and it's on and off. I have had been to many dermatologists and they prescribed the same stuff like hydrocortisone, fluocinolone, betamethasone etc. I depended on it regularly for the first year and the problem got cleared off. 2 years later the problem came back and I applied those creams and it went off for a period and then it came back again, it just goes on and off till the point I got very fed up and went cold turkey from steroid cream, I figured that those stuff would only darken my skin tone around my mouth. I went on trying out natural stuff like putting aloe vera etc and it only helps a bit. To cut the story short I found something that kind of cleared away the problem but it only lasted for 9 months and now the problem is back again.
Am I doomed to use back steroid cream?
Is steroid cream the only way to clear the redness and pain at the corner of my mouth and chn area?
Can moisturizer alone repair the skin condition and clear away the redness? I've tried many from Aveeno to La Roche-Posay with not much success. Now trying california baby botanical moisturizing cream.

-Soak a cotton ball in a 50/50 white vinegar and water mixture. Freeze the cotton ball (leave it in the freezer for about an hour) then dip it in the mixture once more and hold it on the area for 20-30 seconds. It stings a little at first, but it's not that bad. Rinse it with room-temperature water and apply a lotion like Eucerine or Lubraderm (something unscented). You need to lay the lotion on thick, so it's best to do this before bed. ::This made my eczema clear up in about 3 days, however it came back when I ate one of the foods I am allergic to::

My grandmother brought it over from Germany and used it on my father and myself when we were babies. Is there antibiotics that can clear ring worms? I have tried creams but it aint working to well.?

The problem is everyones body is different so what might work for me may not work for you. But I have also done research on it and there are all types of natural remedies you can use for blackheads and acne. Just do a google search of ';natural acne cures';. That will give you info on tea tree oil, lemon juice, and some herbs you can use. Good Luck.

I never have spots but have three big ones on my chin. I never get spots, ever! And it's NOT because of stress. I'm a calm person and I have nothing to stress about. The wedding preparations have been fine for 3 months.
I'm cleansing with regular soap, and then a gentle exfoliant cream that is meant for everyday use and then I'm putting a layer of that spot cream on the spots. I do this twice a day. PS: just to throw my two cents in, you need to narrow down what's causing the darkness: sleep, diet, hormones, things like that.
Look for something that moisturizes without any mineral oil, fragrance or animal products, go with the botanicals instead, and stay away from the skin whiteners, they sounds scary.

PS: just to throw my two cents in, you need to narrow down what's causing the darkness: sleep, diet, hormones, things like that.
Look for something that moisturizes without any mineral oil, fragrance or animal products, go with the botanicals instead, and stay away from the skin whiteners, they sounds scary.

What is a good cleanser or cream that helps with clearing your face from acne, blackheads, etc?
I've never had to deal with acne (thank God for blessing me with good skin!!) but I do get a few pimples and stuff now and then. I use Clean and Clear Morning Burst cleanser and moisturizer. The cleanser has little beads to exfoliate your skin and some burst to release vitamins and a ';wake-up!'; kind of smell. The moisturizer is really light and has skin brighteners in it. They both work really well for me, but like I said, I don't have that bad of skin to start out with. I have good skin, with rare breakouts here and there. But i noticed that i now have several pimples across my forehead. My dog has cherry eye we just got some cream but hav been told if it dont clear he will need a op is it costly

I just went through this with my dog, twice. The first time was in June 2007. That surgery was about $800 (after all the pre-op appt., surgery and meds). I was able to finance it with CareCredit and pay if off within 6 months, no interest.
The second time (this time the other eye) happened in Nov. 2007. The doctor who did the surgery before had moved, so I went to another specialist. This surgery was about the same in cost, but also included two post-op appts (the first surgery didn't require post-op apptoinments).
I live in Chicago and both surgeries were done by specialists. I called around and these prices were comparable to the other estimates.
I tried the cream, it didn't work, so the surgery was needed.
Few things to note:
1. Make sure they tact down the tear duct and not cut it off. The cutting/removal was the old way of doing it and is now considered inhumane.
2. If it happens in one eye, chances are good the other eye will eventually have it.
3. Look into CareCredit (carecredit.com) for financing. The first surgery took it, the second one didn't,
4. I had mine done by a specialist. My normal vet said he doesn't do them very often and didn't appear to be sure of his ability of doing it well.
5. There is a chance it might reoccur, even with the surgery.
All together, I estimated I spent $2000 for both operations. This includes the pre and post op visits, meds, e-collars, and required bloodwork. I wouldn't count on the cream to be very effective. The procedure is a simple on %26amp; the main cost is in the anastesia(sp). Recovery time is short. It really is a simple procedure.
Years ago we had a beagle with a cherry eye that we had removed. Check with your vet on the costs, it seemed like it was under $100.00 but that was awhile back.
Keep using the cream but i would wait a few weeks before surgery as the chances are if cherry eye has developed in one eye then the other will pop up in a week or two and it makes sense to have them both dealt with at once. Make sure that your vet is to remove the gland and not just repair it, a repair seldom works, and yes as someone else said check what will be done with the tear duct or you will end up with dry eye problems. It is a few years since I had to pay for t doing so i would be guessing on up to date costs

Anti-inflammatory eye ointments can indeed work, but operations are often necessary. The op to fix them is fairly straightforward, but we can't tell you on here how much it might cost - this varies greatly from practice to practice. I suggest you just ring your vet for a quote, they will have a standardised fee for it as it's a fairly routine op.

Here are some REALLY good, and very inexpensive ways to treat most acne at home. Try each method (unless you鈥檙e allergic to the ingredients) until you find one that works best for you. Good luck =) BTW, I know some of these may sound bizarre but try them鈥hat have you got to lose other than the acne!!
1. Put toothpaste on your acne before going to bed. (Make sure it is paste not gel). It should reduce the swelling of acne noticeably.
2. Dab egg whites on your acne and leave on for 20 minutes or overnight. It鈥檚 supposed to pull the infection out of the blemish.
3. Wash acne infected areas twice a day with warm salt water. This reduces oils in the skin and helps to dry the acne up without further agitation.
4. Use ice on acne before going to bed. This works best on pimples that have not yet formed a head. It reduces swelling and helps to prevent scarring.
5. Wash and dab acne with cotton balls that have been soaked in vinegar. Let dry; do not wash off immediately.
6. Place strawberries leaves over your acne and the alkalinity will help to reduce the swelling.
7. Try taking salmon oil supplements (found in health food stores and vitamin shops).

If your on a budget there is a great mint scrub and mask you can buy at Sally's that drys out pimples in a matter of days..It's always good to use a mint mask just before your major break out time (usually just before or just after your period if your a girl) no matter what kind of wash your using.. Anyway I hope that helps!

Does anybody know how long a relief from herbal treatment usually lasts? Should I stop applying the cream or continue to do so to prevent future outbreaks?
