Good beauty creams?

I read somewhere that parabens which are found in beauty creams are bad for you and can damage your skin.

Is this true and why do they cause damage?Good beauty creams?
In my training and experience parabens aren't any worse for you than any other product out there. Vitamin C is a big product out there but some studies have shown when it does it's job it leaves behind free radicals and damages the skin you don't see people screaming about it damaging their face, instead you see how it helps even skin tone...

Parabens keep your products fresh and are product stabilizers and preservatives. Many people jumped on a study conducted by a small health food company (trying to push their ';paraben free product';) that said paraben causes cancer. The FDA was not able to confirm this with their trials of the ingredient and the clinical studies done on parabens do not back this data up. What most consumers don't know is that an independent lab can do studies after the FDA releases an ingredient and those lab results are done by companies who need this ingredient to be bad so that they can push their product. If you scare enough customers with your biased unreproducable study then they'll flock to your ';whatever bad ingredient free'; product. Some independent studies are reproducable and are found valid but this is one that really wasn't found valid. There are people who will fight me to the death over this and insist this study is not bogus but from all the research I've seen and based on WHO did it, this is hype. Not to mention parabens are in pretty much all mainstream beauty products and people with beautiful healthy skin and lifestyles use them with no ill effects and no cancer. The evidence just doen't support it in my educated opinion.
