it really helps if you change your pillow case every night. (It's a pain but, it really helps.) Facials help and, also get some subscribed medicine from the doctor. Theres this stuff called retinol that really works. It will have your skin looking healthier within three days. If you wear make-up, get some make up that won't clog pores, like Almay Smart Shade. It's really light on your skin and, still looks pretty. Instead of using the acne product every night, switch off with every other nights and, on the off nights, just use hot water. The harsh chemicals in the product can cause dry skin and might even hurt your pores. Good luck! Hope I helped =)
try this system, i do it and it works, its made up of different products but it will get rid of oily skin and pimples in a week or less, and it'll keep it that way, trust me! i do this and it works!

go to ';sally's beauty supply'; and buy 2 face masks.

1st. apricot moisturizing mask -$5 (for dry parts)

2nd. mint julep face mask -$5 (for oily parts)

then go to target

1st. Noxzema- $4 (for oily parts)

2nd. St. Ives blackhead and blemish control apricot face scrub-$4(for acne)

3rd. neutrogena blackhead eliminating daily face scrub-$5 (for acne)

you use the blackhead St. ives scrub in the shower, preferably in the morning(its pretty rough so it instantly like kills zits), followed by the neutrogena scrub(its softer so it soothes the skin). the you use Noxzema to remove any excess oil, rub in for about 1 minute and thoroughly rinse off, it might sting the 1st time, that is normal, after wards your skin will be noticeably oil free and smooth.

the two face masks i mentioned before are before you go to sleep. only use one, like if one day your face feels oily use the mint mask for 10 minutes and then rinse off using one of the scrubs, on another day if your face is dry use the moisturizing one for 10 minutes before sleeping and rinse off with one of the face scrub.

also get the clean and clear oil absorbing sheets- target $5

you can use those throughout the day to get rid of extra oil =]

try it, you'll see results in a week or less. =]

oh and drink lots of water, it'll speed up the process =]
I have found some good tips in following link, It may be good for you too

these might help ya.....

Step1

Resist the urge to attack when these plugged sebaceous glands pop up. In other words, don't pop your pimples, this can cause infections and even scarring.

Step2

Keep in mind that a combination of hormonal activity, a buildup of bacteria and the shedding of dead skin cells causes pimples. Do what you can to prevent a breakout by establishing a skin-care routine appropriate for your skin type.

Step3

Have patience. It could take up to one month for a blemish to disappear completely. The less you poke at it, the better.

Step4

Buy an antibacterial, oil-free concealer that can blend the redness of the pimple into your own skin color. Green shades tend to offset redness the best. (This might not be an option for those who don't wear makeup.)

Step5

Try a facial mud mask. This may shrink a pimple.

Step6

Realize that despite the happy teens in the commercials, ';zit zapping'; solutions, medications you apply directly to pimples, don't do much more than dry out the top layer of skin covering the pimples. These medications don't provide a long-term cure.

Step7

If you are going to break the rules by ';extracting the blemish,'; aesthetician-speak for popping your pimple, wash your hands, then lightly squeeze the top of the pimple with a tissue or cotton swab. Clean the area thoroughly when you're done. If nothing happens, leave the pimple alone until it's ready to pop.

Step8

Apply a benzol peroxide acne medication to the pimple and avoid applying medication to the surrounding area.

2. Use an astringent after washing. That will help remove the reside and oil that the soap leaves behind. It also removes a lot of the redness from swollen pustules. Put a reasonable amount of the astringent onto a cotton ball (you don't need to soak it). Rub it in small circles all over your face and let it dry.

4. Having long hair will contribute greatly to your acne. If you can, keep your hair out of your face and the number of zits near your hairline will decrease. I personally let my hair grow out to about 3-4 inches, my acne near my hairline was terrible. Then I got a buzz cut, and now I get zits near my hairline about as often as anywhere else on my face.

5. Change your pillowcase often. Think about it; your face is pressed against it for a little less that half of your life, so lots of oil builds up on your pillow.
